BabyKeys

A game a one-year-old cannot get wrong

Any tap, any key, anywhere on the screen brings an animal to life. There are no menus to get lost in, no timer, no score and no way to lose — which is exactly what a child of one to three needs.

Built around one idea: nothing the child does is a mistake

Every touch answers

Tap, swipe, drag, mash the keyboard, poke the TV remote — everything produces a creature, a sound and a burst of confetti. Multitouch included, because small hands land flat.

Gentle where there is a right answer

The sorting and puzzle games have a solution, but a wrong piece is never buzzed or crossed out. It floats quietly back and waits. Right answers get a celebration; wrong ones get nothing at all.

No traps for a parent

Settings and purchases sit behind a gate that asks you to solve a multiplication and pick the right answer out of four. A toddler will not stumble into them, and there is no web browser or video service anywhere in the app.

Ten ways to play

Five are free from the start. The rest are the games a child grows into — sorting, puzzles, shadows — and they unlock together with one purchase.

    Twelve sets to explore

Animals and the whole everyday-skills block are free: potty, washing hands, brushing teeth, saying hello and goodbye. Dinosaurs, vehicles, fairytale and the rest come with the same single purchase.

It can speak in your voice

Record yourself naming the animals, and the game will use your recordings instead of the built-in ones. A one-year-old knows their mother’s voice long before they know a word — no actor can compete with that. The recordings stay on the device and are never uploaded anywhere.

      And play on your photos

Add a couple of family pictures as backgrounds and the animals will tumble across the kitchen, or grandmother’s garden. The app never asks for access to your gallery: you hand it one file through the system picker, and that is all it ever sees.

Works on a plane, works in the car

Every animal, every sound and every game is inside the app from the moment it is installed. Nothing downloads later, nothing buffers, nothing waits for Wi-Fi, and playing spends no mobile data at all. In a tunnel, at thirty thousand feet, or at a grandmother’s house where nobody remembers the password, it behaves exactly the same.

      For the parent

      A time limit that holds

Decide how many minutes a session lasts. When the time is up the game winds down on its own, without a snatched tablet.

      Nine languages

Russian, English, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Polish, Ukrainian, French and Italian — interface and spoken words alike.

      One purchase, not a subscription

Five games and five sets are free forever. A single one-time payment unlocks everything else, on every device signed in to the same store account.

      Nothing leaves the device

No analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no accounts. Nobody can tell that your child played today — not an advertiser, not a data broker, and not us.

      Privacy, in one sentence

BabyKeys collects no data whatsoever — not about you, and not about your child.
