Every touch answers
Tap, swipe, drag, mash the keyboard or a game controller — every touch gets an answer: a picture, a sound, a burst of colour. Multitouch included, because small hands land flat.
Every tap anywhere on the screen, and every key press, gets an answer — a picture and its sound, and in turn its name. There is no timer, no score and no way to lose — which is exactly what a child of one to three needs.

Tap, swipe, drag, mash the keyboard or a game controller — every touch gets an answer: a picture, a sound, a burst of colour. Multitouch included, because small hands land flat.
Shadows, Puzzle, Shape Pairs, Color Pairs, Who called? and Who with whom? have a right answer, but a wrong choice is never buzzed or crossed out: it floats back with a soft pop, and the game hints at the right one. Right answers get a celebration.
Settings and purchases sit behind a gate that asks you to solve a multiplication and pick the right answer out of four. A toddler will not stumble into them, and there is no web browser or video service anywhere in the app.
Five are free from the start, including the colouring style of Magic Brush. The other seven — Shadows, Puzzle, Shape Pairs, Color Pairs, Trail, Who called? and Who with whom? — are the games a child grows into, and one purchase unlocks them all.
Animals and the whole everyday-skills block are free: potty, washing hands, brushing teeth, saying hello and goodbye. Dinosaurs, vehicles, fairytale and the rest come with the same single purchase.
Record yourself naming every object, saying the greetings and giving the prompt for each game, and your voice replaces the built-in one. A one-year-old knows their mother’s voice long before they know a word — no actor can compete with that. The recordings stay on the device and are never uploaded anywhere.
Add up to eight family pictures. They take turns with the built-in backgrounds, so now and then the animals tumble across your kitchen or grandmother’s garden; they also become pictures to colour in and, with the full version, puzzles. The app never asks for gallery access: it sees only the files you hand it, one at a time, through the system picker.
Every animal, every sound and every game is inside the app from the moment it is installed. Nothing downloads later, nothing buffers, nothing waits for Wi-Fi; the only thing that ever goes online is the store’s own purchase check. In a tunnel, at thirty thousand feet, or at a grandmother’s house where nobody remembers the password, it behaves exactly the same.
Decide how many minutes a session lasts. When the time is up the game winds down on its own, without a snatched tablet.
Russian, English, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Polish, Ukrainian, French and Italian — interface and spoken words alike.
Five games and five sets are free forever, and so are your voice and your photos. A single one-time payment unlocks the other seven games and seven sets, on every device signed in to the same store account.
